HYDROGENATED HYDROCARBON RESIN
INTRODUCTION:

High-quality and water-white petrolum resins expertly synthesized via a sophisticated hydrogenation technique that harnesses cracked C5 or C9 fractions as its foundational feedstock.

DETALED DESCRIPTION

Hydrogenated petroleum resin is produced through the hydrogenation process of petroleum resin. This process involves converting the unsaturated hydrocarbons in petroleum resin into saturated hydrocarbons, thereby improving the color, odor, and weather resistance of the product. The resulting hydrogenated petroleum resin is typically white or light yellow in color, with a relative density of 1.01. It exhibits enhanced aging resistance compared to conventional petroleum resin.

It can be used as an additive in various industries such as adhesives, paints, inks, rubber & tires, wax, and coatings to enhance their performance. For example, in the adhesives industry, hydrogenated petroleum resin can improve the tackiness, adhesion, and heat resistance of the adhesive. In paints and coatings, it can enhance the gloss, hardness, and weather resistance of the coating film.

BTack H100 is a fully hydrogenated C5 hydrocarbon resin that is odorless and features a finely-tuned molecular weight, exhibiting excellent compatibility with various natural rubbers, synthetic rubbers, as well as SIS, SBS, EVA, and other materials. It is primarily utilized in indoor decoration and self-adhesive waterproofing membranes (rolls).

BTack H400 is a DCPD hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin that has undergone complete hydrogenation, resulting in an odorless product. Its carefully controlled molecular weight ensures excellent compatibility with polymers such as SIS, SBS, EVA, and APO in adhesive systems. It is primarily used in pressure-sensitive adhesives, hot-melt adhesives, and rubber-based adhesives, particularly in hygienic products.

BTack H420 is a DCPD hydrogenated petroleum resin, primarily generated through the polymerization of dicyclopentadiene and other components, resulting in a low-molecular-weight polymer. It is utilized in high-end rubber products, such as radial tires, and other rubber compounding applications. Additionally, it finds application in alkyd paints, adhesives, hygienic products (such as sanitary napkins, baby diapers, etc.), and the footwear industry.

BTack H500 is a hydrogenated C9 petroleum resin, produced through the polymerization and cyclic hydrogenation of water-white thermoplastic resin. It is primarily used as a tackifier in Hot Melt Adhesives (HMA) and Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (HMPSA). It exhibits excellent heat resistance and good compatibility with materials such as Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) and Styrene Block Copolymers (SBC).

BTack H600 is a water white thermoplastic resin obtained from polymerizing of C9 and Hydrogenation. The major usages are tackifier for hot melt adhesive(HMA), hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA), rubber compounding, etc. because of its good heat resistance and good compatibility with base polymers, such as EVA, SBS, etc. ( Especially when used in tires, it provides exceptional anti-slip performance.)
